Welcome

When we read what God has done in the Bible and hear the stories from more recent history of God at work, it encourages us to believe God to do the same things in our time and in our lives.

On this site you can find out more about the authors of the God's Generals for kids series and tell us what you think about the books (your thoughts may even be included in our reader's gallery).

You can also discover the other generals in the series and visit our UK or USA shop to get any books you don't yet own.

Thanks for stopping by.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions

Are the stories in the God's Generals books true?

All of the stories in the books are true. They tell the story of people who actually lived and of miracles that God did. While we don't have any photos of Jesus in action (because cameras had not been invented when Jesus was on earth) we have lots of photos of Jesus healing people through the Generals, some of which you can see in the books.

How did you decide what stories to include in the books?

We could have just told the good things that each of the generals did, but we didn't want to do that. We wanted you to know that these were real people, who sometimes made big mistakes. We hope that you will see how God used others and know that God can use you too! We also hope that you will learn from their lives so that you don't make the same mistakes that they did.

What did all the generals have in common?

There are three things all the generals we have written about had in common: 1. They all decided to follow God no matter what. 2. They read the Bible and beleived that it was true (even if they hadn't yet seen God dod what he said he would do.) 3. They also all spent a lot of time praying to God, listening to Him and obeying Him. (4. They also all made mistakes, but God still used them). Okay so that was four things. In fact there are probably more things ... if you've read all the books did you spot anything else that they all had in common?

Where can I buy the books?

The books are available through all Christian retailers, online and in store. They can also be purchased from Roberts Liardon Ministries and Children Can.

What age are the books written for?

The books have been written for children aged 8-14. While they can be read by younger children, parents should be aware that some of the themes that have been kept in the book to show the mistakes and challenges faced by the generals may not be suitable for younger readers.

Can I ask you a question that is not here?

Of course you can. Go to the contact page and send us a message. If lots of people ask the same question we'll add it to this page.
